Greenleaf client wins business innovation award

Greenleaf’s client and collaborator, Indianapolis Power & Light, won a business innovation award for the presentation Use of Synthetic Gypsum from Flue Gas Desulfurization Process as an Agricultural Soil Amendment at the World Congress of the AES Corporation, one of the world’s largest power generation and distribution companies. The presentation covered topics from market and regulatory concerns to the environmental and agricultural benefits of using, rather than landfilling, this valuable by-product that IPL produces.

Greenleaf Advisors is proud to work with IPL on a research project in the Eagle Creek watershed which seeks to quantify the effect of gypsum on reducing agricultural pollution, specifically from phosphorous fertilizers, and improving local water quality.
